What We Offer
Your Customers Are Asking AI Tools, Not Just Google
More people now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Google's AI Overviews for recommendations: "who builds kitchen cabinets in Surrey", "best physio near Langley". These tools can only recommend and quote what they can actually read. Many small business sites quietly block AI crawlers, hide their content behind JavaScript, or never say plainly what the business does, where, and for whom. AI Search Visibility fixes the technical and content side of that, so your site gives these tools a clear, accurate picture of your business.
What's Included
I start by checking which AI crawlers (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and others) can reach your site, then set your robots.txt rules to match what you want. I write an llms.txt and llms-full.txt for your business: a plain summary of your services, areas served, pricing and contact details that AI tools can read in one request. I add or fix structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, and Product where relevant) and validate it. I check that your key pages show their content without JavaScript, and rewrite the most important pages so they answer the questions customers actually ask. You get a before/after report listing every change, so you can verify the work yourself.
Works on the Site You Already Have
You don't need a new website. The work is done on your current site, whether it runs on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace or a custom build like Next.js. Some platforms limit what can be changed (for example, adding files at the root of a Shopify or Squarespace domain). If that applies to your site, I'll tell you during the free check what's possible and adjust the scope and price before you commit.
Proof: This Website
webpioneers.ca is set up exactly the way I set up client sites, and every part of it is public. You can read our llms.txt at webpioneers.ca/llms.txt, the longer llms-full.txt, and our robots.txt with its explicit AI crawler rules. Every page also carries structured data you can inspect with Google's Rich Results Test. Every new website I build ships with the same setup by default.
What I Won't Promise
Nobody outside OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity or Google controls what their AI tools say, and anyone guaranteeing you'll be "recommended by ChatGPT" is guessing. What I can promise is a site that these tools can reach, read and understand correctly, with every change documented. That's the part you control, and it's the foundation everything else depends on.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is a plain-text file at the root of your website (yoursite.com/llms.txt) that summarises your business for AI tools: what you do, where you work, your key pages and how to contact you. It's a proposed standard, similar in spirit to robots.txt and sitemap.xml. Not every AI tool reads it yet, so it's one part of the service alongside crawler access, structured data and clear page content.
Will this get my business recommended by ChatGPT?
No one can guarantee that. AI tools decide their own answers, and they change often. What this service does is remove the reasons they can't use your site: blocked crawlers, content hidden behind JavaScript, missing structured data, and pages that never clearly say what you do and where. In the free check I ask a few AI tools about your category and city and record what they say today, so you have a baseline to compare against later.
Does this replace regular SEO?
No. It builds on the same foundations (fast pages, clear content, structured data) and most of the work helps regular Google search too. If your site has bigger SEO problems, I'll point them out in the report.
Do I need a new website?
No. The work is done on your existing site, on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace or a custom build. If your platform limits what can be changed, I'll tell you in the free check before you pay anything.
How long does it take?
Most small business sites take 1–2 weeks from kickoff to the final report, depending on how quickly I get access to the site and how many pages need content changes.
How much does AI Search Visibility cost?
It's a fixed price from C$1,500 CAD for a typical small business site of up to about 20 pages. Larger sites, e-commerce stores with big catalogues, or sites on restrictive platforms are quoted after a free AI visibility check. New websites I build include this setup at no extra cost.
